Within hours of the announcement of the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, at 99 years of age, social media trolls thought it appropriate to attack him, or attack public figures offering the royal family and the British public their condolences. It is a sewer, quite frankly. Engaging with these trolls is an unpleasant experience. It is best to let them wallow in their bitterness. They seem to have no appreciation of history, or respect for elders. On the other hand, legitimate media outlets such as Spiked Online have conducted themselves with more dignity.
