In the culture wars, the tolerant left seems determined to make anyone who doesn't think like them unemployable. Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott found this out, as if he didn't know already, when the British government announced his appointment as a trade envoy. Abbott will join the UK Board of Trade, and assist the British negotiate free trade agreements. Leftists in the British media and politics attempted to stop his appointment, claiming that he is misogynistic and homophobic.
Fortunately for Abbott, the Johnson government held its ground, and Abbott will take up his new role. It just goes to show that you need to stand up to bullies, just like in the school yard.
