Speech must be free

I quite like reading Quadrant. This opinion piece on the Israel Folau controversy is offered in the hope that it will clear up the contentious Bible passages that he quoted in his meme. Rather than singling out one particular group of people, the Bible clearly teaches that sin is a universal human condition. In plain language, every human being is a sinner, including me. Every human being needs God's mercy. Even though It is this message may be confronting to some people, it is not helpful to distort it, either in ignorance of its context, or deliberately.
