As I am not a scientist, I cannot make an informed comment about whether or not anthropomorphic climate change is real. However, I wonder if these Birthstrikers have considered the full ethical implications of their vow. Will they also choose singleness and celibacy until the climate crisis is resolved to their satisfaction. After all, these are the only surefire ways to avoid ever having children. Celibacy isn't exactly the most popular idea in contemporary Western society.
While they're at it, they'd also have to avoid social or work situations that require being around children, or ask any friends who have children to refrain from talking about them, as it may lead to them developing a desire to have children of their own.
