The American Society for Tradition, Family, and Property has published an article discussing the findings comparing the outcomes for children raised by same sex parents compared to those raised by a mother and a father, and seeks to disprove the frequently made claim by same sex marriage advocates that there is no difference.
When you let the raw data speak for itself, and don't advertise for research participants in gay and lesbian media, and your results aren't based on favourable self-reporting from the participants, there clearly is a difference.
