Pastor calls Christian atheists to shed hypocrisy
This very challenging article was posted on the Christian Today website the other day. It seemed timely to post a a link to it here because my cell group at church is currently working through the book of Romans. Here, the apostle Paul wrote that while Christians were saved by grace, this did not mean they had the freedom to live as they pleased. Modern day Christians also need to be reminded of this fact. If you take God seriously, then you'll understand that being a Christian is not just agreeing with a set of propositions on a doctrinal statement. Belief must be reflected in everyday living, even if this means denying ourselves things that we think will make us happy, but actually won't.

I totally agree! Living out our faith is more than just intellectual agreement with a philosophy. :)
Right, by Faith alone...
However faith without works is dead....
