Another post bagging out Battlefield Earth. Ten years after I saw the film, it seems I'm still recovering. In the pages of the New York Post, Writer J.D. Shapiro, who wrote the movie, apologizes to viewers and explains how the bomb came to be. It's pretty funny and self-deprecating, if a little crude.
