Cluttered shelves

Defying Death: Zakaria Botross - Apostle to Islam (ISBN: 0977560228) is the true story of Father Zakaria Botross. He was a Coptic Orthodox priest in in Egypt, but was excommunicated from his church for preaching the Gospel of grace to his converts, and imprisoned by the Egyptian government for preaching Christianity to Muslims. Eventually he and his family were exiled from Egypt, with some of them resettling in Australia. He now operates an online ministry targeting the Arabic speaking Islamic world that reaches millions of people, with an astonishing number of conversions. As a piece of writing, this book is unpolished in some places, and could do with some revision and editing. Its strength is in the story more than its telling. Father Zakaria's remarkable life exemplifies how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary for Him. The reader will come away from reading this book impressed by his courage, passion, and faithfulness.
