Library Girl

Get Ready to be Boyzvoiced is a mock- documentary about the Norwegian boy band Boyzvoice. SBS showed this recently, and it was hilarious. The film covers the band's trials and tribulations as members M'Pete, Roar, and Hot Tub deal with various mishaps whilst on a promotional tour, including a miming scandal at a live performance, an innapropriate relationship with a female fan, and a shocking secret that threatens to derail their careers before they have a chance to hit the big time. Last year's Boytown was based on a similar idea, but this film works slightly better. Other examples of this genre of film include The Rutles: All You Need is Cash (1978) and the better known This is Spinal Tap (1984).

This is the music video for their single, Library Girl, taken from the movie's soundtrack album. Who'd have thought libraries could be a hotbed of romance and unrequited love? I wish.

I LOVE that movie. Jon Case first turned me on to it. A real cackle fest.

Too right. Do you remember the scene where they perform at a small town music festival? I'll never think about fish fingers the same way again.
