We're on a mission
World Team is a interdenominational mission organisation that works throughout the world to reach unreached people groups with the gospel. Last Friday night they held one of their semi regular Panel and Pancakes nights at Hawthorn West Baptist Church. Kitty Cheng, a friend of mine, works for them as a missions mobilizer. Her job is to build awareness of World Team and its work, and also to help people discover their calling to missionary service. I was happy to attend to lend moral support. The pancake aspect is self-explanatory, but a panel of speakers, mostly young families or newly married couples, talked about their experiences of serving as missionaries throughout the world. Hearing these stories is always an encouragement to me. When I think about the state of the world, it's easy to feel despondent. It's good to be reminded that God is working in the world through those who offer their lives in service to Him, transforming nations one life at a time.

Amen! We are trully on a mission - the Great Commission of God cannot be the great omission.
Thanks Ross for your support in my role as a mission mobilizer with World Team. I really appreciate it!
